Bassidi is very honoured to have been selected to present a 50-minute clinic performance during this year’s 4-day Percussive Arts Society International Convention (PASIC16), in Indianapolis, IN, U.S.A in November, 2016. He is excited to be bringing a Malian voice to this convention, the world’s premier drum and percussion festival, presenting both the djembé and balafon, and speaking about the role these instruments play in his Griot culture and village traditions.
